# Fees

HyprEarn charges a Builder Fee on each trade. The rate is volume-based: the more you trade, the lower your rate. The venue you trade on charges its own protocol fee separately, set by and paid to that venue.

#### Where the fee applies

The Builder Fee applies to trades on these venues:

* Hyperliquid
* Lighter (Ethereum)
* Lighter on Robinhood
* Pacifica
* Nado

Trades on Avantis and Paradex carry no HyprEarn Builder Fee.

### Fee Tiers

Your rate is set by your rolling 30-day trading volume across HyprEarn. All venues are combined into a single total.

New accounts and accounts with no volume in the window start at Tier 0.

#### How your tier is calculated

1. **Everything counts:** All volume executed through HyprEarn counts toward your tier, across every venue and every feature.&#x20;
2. **Rolling 30 days:** Your tier is based on the volume you traded in the 30 days
3. **Checked daily:** Your tier is reassessed every day at 00:05 UTC. If your volume has crossed a threshold, the lower rate applies from that point for the rest of the period.
4. **Periods reset every 30 days:** At the end of each 30-day period, volume counters reset to zero for all accounts and everyone returns to Tier 0.

#### What the fee is charged on

The Builder Fee is calculated on the notional size of your position at the time of execution. It applies to both entry and exit.&#x20;

Worked example at Tier 0:

* Open a $10,000 position: $1.90
* Close the same position: $1.90
* Total for the round trip: $3.80

At Tier 5 the same round trip costs $2.00.
